Both take one to two hours and you wear the piece home the same day.

The Silver Class

Silver is the classic metal of Balinese jewelry. In the Silver Class you start from pure silver grain: it is melted over charcoal and torch, poured, and rolled into a strip or wire before you saw, shape, solder and polish it.

Why choose silver?

  • It is a precious metal. A silver ring can be worn daily and kept for decades.
  • You see the whole process. Watching the grain melt into one bright drop is the moment most guests remember.
  • It suits fine detail. Stamped letters, a date, a twist or a hammered texture all look crisp in silver.
  • You can add to it. Extra silver is Rp 85.000 per gram if your design grows, and stones from the studio tray start at Rp 200.000 (see gemstones).

For two people, the Couple Silver Class (Rp 1.250.000 per couple) gives each of you a bench and silver of your own, plus a word engraved inside each band.

The Brass Jewelry Workshop

Brass is the friendliest metal on the bench: warm in color, quick to shape and forgiving of a first attempt. In the Brass Jewelry Workshop you saw, form, solder and polish a piece from up to seven grams of solid brass, and it is gold plated in the studio before you leave, at no extra charge.

Why choose brass?

  • It is the easiest start. It is the class we recommend for first-timers, families and curious friends.
  • The color of gold at a brass price. The plating gives your piece a gold finish for Rp 500.000 in total.
  • It works for small groups. One to seven guests can share the bench in one session, and the studio can be reserved privately.
  • Simple designs finish quickly, which helps with children or a tight schedule.

One honest note: gold plating is a thin surface layer. On a ring worn every day it wears gradually over time, more slowly on pendants and earrings. If you want a piece for daily wear over many years, silver is the better choice. Our jewelry care guide shows how to make plating last and how to keep silver bright.

Which One Should You Book?

  • You want an heirloom or an everyday ring: the Silver Class.
  • You are making matching rings with your partner: the Couple Silver Class.
  • It is your first time, or you are coming with children: the Brass Jewelry Workshop.
  • You want a gold look without the cost of gold: the Brass Jewelry Workshop.
  • You are five or more: the Group Silver Class, priced on request; guests can work in silver or brass.

You can also mix metals in one booking. One person can work in silver while a friend or child works in brass at the next bench. Just tell us when you book.

And if you would rather work in gold itself, gold jewelry classes are available by appointment only; ask on WhatsApp.
